Description: A green flash of the sun is an event that is seen by a few and is often thought to be a "myth" or "urban legend" by those that have never seen one. Green flashes do exist and can be seen when atmospheric conditions are conducive. Green Flash photographer Oscar G Medina captured this "floating" green flash from a hill overlooking Pacific Beach, California.
